2 months old

Asher went to the doctor today for his 2 month check up. The doctor said he is perfect. We agreed. I told my brother Joe that, and he said he could have told me that for free! He weighs 11 lbs and is 23 1/2 inches long. He had to get 5 shots, and he was very brave. (He did much better than his mom)


Today I got to go to lunch with my sister who lives in Escalante! It was very cool to see her. I wish we could have spent more time together, but she usually can't stay for very long.

Happy Anniversary

Today is our 13th wedding anniversary. I had to work today, but Mike sent me some beautiful flowers at work. He is so thoughtful and sweet! Happy anniversary, I love you!

SEP conferences

Last night we went to our kids parent teacher conferences and were pleasantly surprised. Both Austin and McCall are exceeding their expectations at school. Both teachers had very good things to say about their academics and behavior in class. All the things parents love to hear! We let them each pick a book from the book fair and send some of their friends val-o-grams. We are quite the proud Mom and Dad!

Skip ka bobs

One of the reasons I wanted to start a blog, is because kids say the darndest things. The other night McCall was begging for a snack and Mike told her no, because it was time to get ready for bed. She said "Fine, it you won't let me have a snack, I'm not going to eat!" Yesterday, McCall and Asher went to my moms for a couple of hours while I went to work. McCall was helping my mom make shish ka bobs. McCall told her they were called "skip ka bobs." There is no arguing with her, we will now all call them skip ka bobs. She is SO FUNNY!
