Nearly a year!

Wow! I don't know what happened! Nearly a a year has gone by since I last posted. I noticed that the last time I posted, Austin had just graduated 6th grade. Well now he has made it through his first year of Jr. High. He did pretty well. His least favorite subject was keyboarding. Go figure, I remember loving keyboarding.
McCall has completed the 2nd grade. She had an absolutely amazing teacher. McCall also finished gymnastics for the year and doesn't want to return. Swimming is her new thing.
Asher is...well...out of control. I don't know what happened to my sweet little baby. He turned into a TERRIBLE TWO YEAR OLD!!! He is busy busy busy all day. If he is not climbing on something, he's coloring on something. It's a good thing he is so darn cute.

Austin's Choir concert. He is in the back row center.

6th Grade Graduation

We did it! Austin has graduated Elementary School! They had such a fun graduation ceremony. There were a few kids that spoke, a few musical numbers, and then they did a slide show of pictures from the year. I cried a little even though I promised Austin I wouldn't do anything embarrassing. After the ceremony the students and teachers got to have a "Fancy lunch" together. It was set up in the library so cute. He went to school with a great group of kids, and he really liked his teacher, Mr. Thompson. Congratulations Austin, you make us proud!:)

Hope of America

I know I brag about my kids a lot, but this is my blog, what else am I supposed to write? I seriously have the best son any mother could ever ask for. This year Austin was presented with the "Hope of America" Award. They only give this to four students a year. One boy and one girl from each 6th grade class. I think that the teacher nominates the students. It is presented by the Kiwanis Internationals club. A plaque with his name on it will forever be hanging in Aspen Elementary. The award reads

"HOPE OF AMERICA AWARD
Presented with honor to
Austin Perry
Who has demonstrated during this school year capacity for
leadership, ethical and moral character and outstanding
academic accomplishment."

My little Gymnast

I am so proud of my little girl. She totally rocked her gymnastics recital! At the beginning they did a group routine. Then each girl got to do several solo parts. She was grinning ear to ear, loved performing! When we got home I asked her what her favorite part about the recital was. She said it was the trophy, which she slept with that night!

Happy Birthday McCall!

Our little girl is seven! When we were in Disney land they asked us if we were celebrating anything. I told them that we had a birthday coming up. They gave her a pin to wear that read "Happy Birthday McCall" Everywhere we went the employees would say to her "Happy Birthday Princess."
She said to me "Mom, even in Disney land they know I'm a princess!"
What a fun thing that was for her. She got a new bike for her birthday (after dropping several hints) She is so funny. There has not been a single dull moment in our lives since she was born. We love you McCall, you are such a special, wonderful, beautiful, little girl!

Disney Land

Finally, a vacation! We had SO much fun in Disney land. The first day there was a little hot, the next three days it rained. That's okay, we're from Utah, as long as it's not snowing we are good to go! The first two days we went to Disney land, the third day we went to Universal Studios, & the last day we went back to Disney land.

It was a lot of walking. Austin & McCall did so good. They rode everything! Except "It's a small world." My mom warned Austin about it before & he refused to ride it, none of us were disappointed by that. It wasn't very crowded, so we were able to ride everything that we wanted with out long lines. We rode "soaring over California" six times!

Asher stayed with his Aunt Jenifer. I felt a little guilty him, but once we got there & saw all the babies sitting in their strollers the entire time, I felt better. Then when I talked to Jenifer, and found out how much fun they were having, I was totally fine.

We stopped in Las Vegas on the way there, so I could go to the Coke store and take the kids to the M&M store.

We loved it, can't wait to go back!

This year on St. Patrick's Day I went to a Jazz game. I went with some people from work. The first half of the game we had pretty good seats, like row 23 or something like that. The 2nd half of the game 4 of us got to go down and sit on ROW 2! It was SO COOL! GO JAZZ!!!!!
